The Richard Hatches Co Metal Toleware Centerpiece Leaves on Vine Made in Italy

Mid 20th Century Italian tole ivy leaf centerpiece signed The Richard Hatch – Mads in Italy. Weighty metal worked into a nice arrangement and then finely painted with detail to have a variegated leaf coloration.. This one shows commensurate patina and obvious signs of age and use throughout; chips, scrapes, craquelure, rust, surface wear. Leaves are variegated shades of green with touches of brown accents. Stems and central support are beige. the leaves are in a permanent position affixed to a 4.5″ round base.
