Roll-Top Softwood & Mahogany Veneer Desk Circa 1910 A large roll-top desk from 1910, signed with a plaque in the central part of the add-on unit. In the lower part on the left side, there is a row of drawers, and on the right side, a compartment divided by a shelf. In the central part, there is one large drawer. On the sides, there are also pull-out surfaces. The interior of the add-on unit is filled with small drawers and shelves. Moreover, its sides open outwards. All locks are functional. The construction of the furniture is made of softwood veneered with mahogany and mahogany wood. There is following inscription on the brase plate: “Presented to James Dawson as a token of respect from the P.M. New York Society. Nov 1st 1910” The desk is finished with semi-matte lacquer.
