Vintage Mexican JLR – Juvento Lopez Reyes – .925 Sterling Silver bowl with makers mark/hallmark on bottom.

Juventino Lopez Reyes is a well-known Mexican silversmith, highly sought after for his superb designs and quality workmanship among silver collectors. Born in 1915 he was at the height of his creative power in the 1950’s. His style sits firmly in Mid Century Design, with refined and simple forms fitting perfectly into function. He opened his own workshop, Platería del Recreo, in 1935. The JLR conjoined mark was used in several distinct versions.

Very good vintage condition; signs of use and scuffing inside and around the bowl from use, minor tarnish. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS.
