Vintage Design
A beautiful and impressive antique open bookcase in the Sheraton style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.
It is very well made and of superb quality. The wood has a lovely colour tone and patina, there is stunning satinwood inlay around the top and front edges. There are ten adjustable shelves offering lots of storage space. This is very tall and a good width, while also not very deep, so doesn’t jut out too far into the room.
We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. The cornice and base come off and the main section splits into two, so this breaks down into four pieces for ease of transport.
