“Artona” dining table from 1975 measuring 250 x 70 x 144 cm. Designed by the well-known designers Tobia and Afra Scarpa and produced by the Italian company Maxalto, known for its predilection for high-end craftsmanship. A collection of incredible value, among the most relevant of the entire production of the Tobia & Afra Scarpa duo, both for the material used and for the innovative shapes: the entire table is made of walnut root.
The table has an oval shape and is equipped with two concrete blocks on which the Maxalto company logo is present together with paper documentation. They are intended to be positioned inside the bases of the table to ensure stability. The table is designed to be broken down into several parts, also making it easier to transport.
The state of conservation is good and shows light wear due to age and use.
