20th-Century Mahogany & Pine Wood Vennered with Mahogany Ladies’ Secretary Desk A ladies’ secretary desk from the early 20th century constructed of mahogany wood and pine wood veneered with mahogany. The top section consists of a central part with closing doors, a mirror, and two rows of drawers on the sides. The desk’s top is covered with leather, and there is one large drawer in the lower part. The whole piece is supported by cabriole legs. Both the desk and the top section are richly adorned with intricate inlays and brass fittings. All locks are functional. The furniture is in its original condition, without restoration.
