A Chinese Qing Dynasty period red lacquered side cabinet from the 19th century, with two doors, carved apron and patinated brass hardware. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this side cabinet features a rectangular top with central board and slightly beveled edges, sitting above an elegant red lacquer façade. Two doors, adorned with simply carved panels, are fitted with brass hardware made of ornate pulls and petite key on rectangular backplates. These doors open to reveal a dark lacquered interior offering convenient storage, and contrasting beautifully with the exterior red lacquer. Three of the four sides are accented with carved aprons while the back is bare, with a darker finish. Raised on four straight legs, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period red lacquer side cabinet from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, perhaps placed in a living room or bedroom.
