Vintage Mirrored Carousel Horse, Outside Prancer

Stunning, beautifully decorated outside row prancer carousel horse painted white with light blue, yellow and gold and studded with silver mirror accents, complete with stand. Friendly face and wonderful detail-brings smiles to young and old! Gorgeous articulated mane and tail in wood painted soft gold. Lovely curved saddle, great teeth, and original glass eyes. The mirror decorations are on one side only, in line with the carousel tradition of showing the more ornate side of the horse to the public on the outside row of the carousel. Solid and heavy–a great addition to your home or yard! Can be displayed indoors or outdoors; however, children should not play on top unless the stand and horse are properly secured. Likely a fiberglass reproduction, with wood tail and ears. Likely European in origin.

Overall condition consistent with age and use, including prior display outdoors. Paint loss/wear in some spots and a small chip in one ear, as represented in photos. The tail is loose and, upon close inspection, was made in two pieces. Please see photos for detail and condition.

Body measures 39″ w x 58 1/4″ h x 12″ d (back), 10″ d (front). Overall length with tail and legs approximately 64″. Seat is approximately 33″ h.
